from one insane week into another

went bugis today wif baltic to get project stuff. tot can kau tim in bout 1 hr. end up spent bout 2.5 hrs there.

1st went to get pulse sensor. SGD40+. and found out on official receipt only can put SGD10 for the COMPONENTS only. wat the crap. tell la earlier so we can just go online find circuit. damnit. means we now have to pay up SGD30+ on our own. cannot claim from lab. got the roller sensor also for SGD4.50 but now dunno whether can use cuz tilt it a bit onli, the ball inside move d. how to detect someone falling down leh. move abit, alarm ring? X_X

then went over to sim lim tower to get rechargeable batt and solar panel. stopped at batt store 1st. din noe whether solar panel can supply the 5V needed to put into voltage converter to get 9V, so went to look at solar panels. 6.6V 200mA for SGD22. and the thing only produced max 3.3V when we tested out. sienness. and dunno whether the current is ok for the converter. called mann ern ask him check converter datasheet. seems 200mA is ok. but still din wanna get the solar panel yet.

went back to batt store. discuss a while more bout the batts and stuff. finally bought only 4 1.2V batts (we need total 6V to be able to regulate it to 5V) cuz it's kinda weird to charge 5 batts. and we wanted to just test it out 1st. 4 rechargeable batts = SGD20. then we realised, how are we gonna detect whether batts charged up or not? batt charger holder + 4 batts = SGD68. SIAOOOOOOO!!!!

after buying the batts, went back to get 2 6.6V batt (since one gives 3.3V onli, we need 2 to be able to get at least 6V to connect to converter). and wth....the shop closed d. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. went to find another shop and bought 6 5V 80mA solar panels. this one at least gives 5V ngam ngam. gonna put it er.....2 panels in series then the 3 pairs in parallel to get 10V and 240mA. this way, dunit converter d. can straight charge the batts. yay!!

by the time we finish ade bout 6. omg. supposed to meet sis at vivo at 530!!! and baltic's phone batt died. and he STILL can't remember his own gf's phone number. goodness. has to ask xander for sue ann's number. tsk tsk tsk. lousy baka.

eheh was supposed to meet sis at outram park station. but somehow......terlupa and went to harbour front and wondering where is she. LOLz. GOMEN!!!!

went to get tics back to KL. fri 10am. gotta leave hse so early. ack. train gonna be packed. so prob taking 189 to kent ridge terminal then change to bus 10. coming back sg on 23/9 (tues) to cont project testing and programming.

wanted to go marche for dinner but the queue was insane. so ate at secret recipe. talked talked. went shopping. bought 2 shorts wif 30% discount. syokness~~ 930pm went back to marche and finally get to eat a bday cake and ice cream. heh. sis chia~ wheehehe.

soooo, insane week ahead. which will consist of going to project lab to test stuff, ee2007 programming wif chau, MKT group meeting on tues 6pm, 2 MKT subject pools, e-gaming meeting and mike just reminded me of EG2401's interim report.
